Is it safe? Spa Treatment After Cosmetic Procedure

The short answer is, it depends.

We frequently “stack” procedures and spa treatments, but usually, we recommend you schedule your spa treatment any time before your procedure. The timing of spa treatments after your procedure depends on the procedure.

For fillers and neuromodulators:

I would wait until the day after either of those procedures for your facial. You don’t want to risk disrupting the placement of these products by having a facial too soon.

For other cosmetic procedures:

Lasers and peels may leave your skin a little irritated or the skin barrier compromised, spa treatments should be put off until your skin has recovered.

However, I do frequently recommend a therapeutic facial with lymphatic massage after those procedures that may lead to swelling around the eyes. This can be very helpful in speeding recovery and getting you back out into public.
